Are You Living An Authentic Life?

This morning, someone asked me what I do. And every time I break it down, it comes down to helping people take these three steps:

  1. Heal your past.
  2. Create your future.
  3. Live an authentic life.

Sounds simple, doesn’t it? The truth is millions of people are struggling with this every day. Whether it’s an entrepreneur who’s confused and stuck, or a professional woman who’s thinking of getting a divorce, or someone who’s grappling with PTSD; it’s truly the same process. All. The. Same.

Let me explain with the how and the why this is necessary to be fulfilled as I go through each step.

  1. Heal your past. Would you put new decorations in your house if it needed a good cleaning? No. And you wouldn’t be doing the mindset work and focusing on what you want when you’ve got emotional baggage stuck in your subconscious mind. (That’s why people try to diet and they don’t lose weight because they’ve still got the emotional stuff going on.) So, It’s important to work through it and then move on to step two. I don’t care what it is that you’re trying to accomplish.
  2. Create your future. Getting clear on your direction is the next step. But, like tapping into the past within the subconscious mind, you need to dig deep into the emotions again to discover your true path. Get out of your head and into your heart. Be honest with yourself, and shut out what you think you should do, or what other people want you to do, or anything else that doesn’t align with your heart. It might sound corny, but it’s the only way.
  3. Live an authentic life. After you’ve healed the past and started on your path, it’s important to stay in that emotional guidance of your heart. And there are many roadblocks that can get in your way: Losing focus, being fearful or anxious, falling into mindset traps such as scarcity, and more. Creating mindset habits that will keep you steady and on your path so you’re living the life that’s truly YOU, and doing the work that’s in sync with who you ARE, is that authenticity that will leave you feeling that you’re living a life that’s full.

These steps have the power to get you into alignment with who you are, what you want, and get past the residual emotions and limiting beliefs that have kept you stuck living a life that’s not authentic.

You can try to do this on your own. But, I recommend you get some help with this from someone that has the skills and experience to help you work at a deep level. (And reading a book or watching a YouTube video doesn’t cut it.) Feel free to contact me, and find out how to get the results you want.

We Become Programmed for Failure

We are born connected to abundance…

which is everywhere. But then, we hear, see and learn things as we’re growing up that tells us otherwise.
Whether it’s family, friends or other people around us, we experience things that take us away from the belief that there is abundance.
It could be something like “you have to work hard for money”, or some other negative affirmation that gets caught in our mind.
From our experiences we have developed these beliefs that can stop us on our path; we may want to achieve something, but on a subconscious level, we don’t believe it’s going to happen.
Or maybe it will happen, but it’ll be very difficult.
So we don’t try, or if we do try, we give off that attitude – or energy that keeps success at bay.
But, it’s possible to shift those beliefs.
If fact, it’s not only possible, but I’ve done it with many clients over the years who kept spinning their wheels.
It can be very hard to see what’s in our own way.
That’s because it’s stuck at the subconscious level of our mind, and since the subconscious is our “horsepower”, it controls us – whether we like it or not.
So as we get older, we can come to realize that we have lots of layers of beliefs that have built up over time.
What do you do?
You start peeling them away. You work through the layers, and get yourself back to that feeling of abundance you were born with, when you were playful and imaginative.
Peeling those layers is what I help entrepreneurs do in the Mustang Mindset Academy; a program that has all the tools for mindset success.
If you’ve tried everything else and it’s not working, it’s time to look within. I’d love to have you join me.

The Introverted Entrepreneur

I was a high level commercial underwriter for a major US bank.

I had a great salary and benefits, and I suppose I had built my confidence a bit by working my way up to the high ticket group. (Approving loans in excess of $5 million.)

I had also been studying clinical hypnotherapy and mindset on the side, and discovered I had a knack for helping people get unstuck. But…

I wasn’t prepared for the S@!t-storm of mindset crap that came down the pike in my general direction when I decided to become an entrepreneur. From corporate cubicle to massive exposure, it was time to put my ideas out into the world. And the fear and anxiety crept in…

What if they actually see me? (Hello! You’re an entrepreneur, you HAVE to be seen – especially online.)

What if they don’t like me? (Bloody hell woman, get over yourself!)

What if I’m rejected? (So what? It’s not going to kill you!)

And so it went in my mind. It’s been my battle. But I know that I can help others with this AND continue to grow as well.

If you’re out there and you’re reading this, know that you’re not alone and that I’m here for you. I get it.

And if we all get our messages out there, just imagine the impact we can have.

Stop Ignoring That Inner Voice That Keeps Telling You What Your Purpose Is

Lost in a sea of confusion. It happens to the best of us. If you’re feeling confused over the steps to take to live your true calling, you’re not alone.

You can get so caught up in your head that you’re not listening to your heart, and often because you don’t trust it. If you really sit still and listen to that little voice inside of you, it TELLS you what the answer is.

I’m sure you’ve felt it giving you that “nudge”. Reminding you every now and then that it’s there, but you’re not trusting it. You’ve pushed it aside in disbelief, because you just can’t believe that something that you actually feel excited about is the direction you should go in.

But that’s where you’re going wrong, and I’ve done it too. It may be a subconscious limiting belief such as “can I REALLY make money doing that?” Or, “I have to work hard for money”. And then there’s the ever-popular “but what about security?”

The Co-Workers That Make Us Rethink Why We’re Still In The Job

I recall when I was considering taking the giant leap from the J.O.B. I became keenly aware of the co-workers around me who were so miserable that it was affecting their health.

You know: The ones who have an excel spreadsheet that automatically calculates how many days are left before retirement. And believe me, some of them had a long way to go, even though they were looking a bit rough around the edges.

Not to be rude, but stress does take its toll.

Are You Going To Get Through The Muck Or Stay Stuck? (Video)

In clinical hypnotherapy, I had people that came to me wanting me to waive a magic wand and make them get rid of 50 pounds of weight, or whatever their goal was, because that’s what they thought hypnosis was all about. What they DIDN’T get is that All Hypnosis Is Self Hypnosis (as we say in the biz).

So YOU’VE got to want to do the work, and get through your muck: The fears, anxiety, emotional healing – all of it! You have to be willing to go deep and discover what’s holding you back, and work through it.

That’s life in the big city (or the big country – wherever you are!)

What’s Your Legacy?

Many people (particularly entrepreneurs) seem to strive for the flashy car, multi-million dollar house on the beach, Christian Louboutin shoes (if you’re a woman)…

But that’s not me. I’m a Subaru kind of gal, who would prefer a comfy pair of clogs, and an LL Bean coat. I was built for practicality after all.

My needs are fairly simple. (Nothing against those people who want the other things.)

What burns inside my soul is the desire to leave an impact, by helping people break through the blocks that are keeping them from living a life of passion and purpose.

I can’t take a Mercedes with me when I go, but, I CAN touch lives and make a difference, and that will STAY.
